COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (January 23, 2014) – On the day after the March for Life in Washington, DC, the pilgrims from Boston celebrated Mass at Memorial Chapel at the University of Maryland before heading into the city to tour some notable sites before getting aboard their buses for the long trip home.

Cardinal Seán O’Malley is leading a group of more than 750 youth and young adults from the Archdiocese of Boston to Washington, DC for the 40th annual March for Life on January 22, 2014. This is the largest number of attendees ever sent from the Archdiocese.

The Boston contingent departed for Washington via bus on the morning of Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from various locations in the Archdiocese.

FAIRFAX, Virginia (January 21, 2014) – After a snow-filled 12-hour bus ride from Boston, the pilgrims headed to the March for Life attended the Life Is Very Good evening of prayer sponsored by the Diocese of Arlington and held at the Patriot Center at George Mason University.

The evening featured a musical performance by Matt Maher and then adoration and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
