My name is Mike Myers. I am the owner of Legion Marketing; my expertise is in nightlife. I believe that I know the best and brightest of everything that’s in Las Vegas. I can help you skip the lines, skip the bad spots, basically cut the fat.
The best way to sort through Vegas is the alcohol/no-alcohol routine. Mandalay Bay has an amazing aquarium called Shark Reef where you can see jellyfish and touch stingrays and, of course, see sharks. They’re rolling out the Cyclone Roller coaster in New York New York and the four terrifying rides atop the Stratosphere take advantage of every bit of the skyscraper. The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage puts you in the water with bottlenose dolphins. The MGM has a lion habitat in plain view of the casino floor where there are always a couple of lions lounging around or playing with their trainers. Outside on the strip, inside the showcase mall, there is an M&M world with four floors with everything candy including M&M Monopoly, a replica of Kyle Bush’s sponsored race car, 22 different colors of M&Ms just to name a few. Next door is a 55 thousand square-foot arcade and next to that’s a movie theater with all the newest movies. Beyond that, the main attraction for kids seems to be the pools. Every hotel has separate pools for the parties and for the adults so that the main areas are very kid-friendly. Mandalay Bay even has a wave pool which is very popular with all ages, and the Golden Nugget has a water slide that actually shoots you through a shark tank if you’re looking for a thrill.

My name is Mike Myers. I am the owner of Legion Marketing; my expertise is in nightlife. I believe that I know the best and brightest of everything that’s in Las Vegas. I can help you skip the lines, skip the bad spots, basically cut the fat. There’s some debate as the best club currently, but there’s no debate who makes up the top two. Marquee Nightclub Dayclub is the newest and the hardest club to get into in Las Vegas, both due to the popularity and to the fact that the entry is up five stories and there’s only three elevators to fill the club which can hold up to 3,000 people at once, but has put over 5,000 people through the door in one night. The creators of Tao and Tao Beach and Lavo here in Vegas brought their New York expertise to the cosmo and so far it’s been crushing it. On pace to do million this year answered all questions about their house music only formula with a resounding yes. As I’d hate to call XS second best to anyone since I believe it’s the best nightclub ever built, but Marquee has definitely put a dent in their domination as of late. Refusing to go down without a fight, the team at XS has fired back as of late by booking some of the biggest acts in the nightlife world and putting up huge numbers that got them the nightclub of the year last year with a million bottom line. Haze at Aria is probably the next biggest place, scheduled to do around million, which is impressive considering Marquee and XS both have outdoor areas to put their overflow and pull in extra money. Haze is your typical nightclub with four walls and a roof. The biggest club in the Light Group arsenal, Haze has a variety of acts, including hip hop, and celebrity hosts and the world’s best DJs. It’s complemented with the Light Group’s other four places inside of Aria: Deuce Lounge, Gold Boutique Club, Liquid Pool and Union restaurant which all feed into Haze. Finally, I want to mention Encore Beach Club and Surrender. The category says best clubs and this is predominantly a pool party, but it does open up at night; and when the weather permits they pack them in there. They’re one of the best looking crowds in Vegas. The flaw in the design is that it’s a pool first and foremost and maybe the most lavish pool anyone’s every created. Leave it to Steve Wynn to build a million pool during a recession. When the weather doesn’t cooperate the actual nightclub itself, the inside portion is very small and very unimpressive; but when the weather is right the place looks amazing both during the day and at night with one of the most interactive lighting packages all throughout the water and the walls.
